For me, Minimalism is understanding value and by value I don’t mean monetary. High earners are afforded greater opportunity to purchase higher value items, however high value in cost does not result in a valuable, meaningful purchase.
Minimalism, in my eyes, is creating room for more time. More time to spend with friends, more time to spend with family, more time doing the things we love. Minimalism removes items that do not bring us value or function irrespective of price. It’s a process of shedding physical and mental weight.
I think the intentions of minimalism appeal to all, as income aside, surely everyone wants more time in their life to spend with those we love.
